After installing Sierra, I needed to download an update from an unidentified developer, an investment site that has been programming for the Mac for 20-30 years.
Under previous versions going into Security and Privacy there was a button for Unknown apps or sites…something like that, giving the Mac Permission I could install the program and then change the preferences back to only Apple Approved developers. Note the choices under Sierra!!! How in the heck do we get around this? There is no choice for the unknown developer, I can’t update the program. John
