The official site to acquire Flash is <https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
<https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/>>. There are many unofficial and dangerous
versions floating around, so this is the only surely safe place to get it.

I don’t ever install Flash because it’s long been one of the leading targets
for malware. It’s amazing to me that after all these years people are still
finding what Adobe calls “critical exploits” in Flash.

Whenever I positively need Flash—and those times are getting rare—I go to the
site with Chrome instead of Safari. Chrome has a special sandboxed version of
Flash built in.

However, Google is trying to discourage everyone from using Flash, so they’ve
turned it off in the newer versions of Chrome. To turn it on, check out this
site: <https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6258784?hl=en
