This afternoon my wife wanted to go eat at StreamCliff Farms….very close to
North Vernon, IN…in the boonies would be an understatement….we were grazing
with the cattle.

My wife’s Verizon iPhone had NO service….so when I took my laptop into the
restaurant my Verizon Mi-Fi had NO service…so hopefully my AT&T iPhone would
have service….nope, completely dead, nothing

However I noticed the iPhone had connected itself to the Mi-Fi and I had full
bars on the Wi-Fi radar icon…what?

I started the program I use to collect the market data….it launched and was
soon connected and collecting data….I did the export at 2:45 and could then
close everything down.

SO, how in the world could this have worked? Neither of the services had
connectivity to any tower…all were completely dead…yet together I had great
strength and I could see the tick by tick data coming in and I was able to
download the data.

I can’t figure it out. A Fluke? A unique way to connect to the outside world?

Just wondering.

John
