Dan, I guess she doesn’t use iCloud as a backup of her desktop and documents? That would solve her problem….
I also don’t use Microsoft enough to know how the backups work, I don’t understand why she needs to look for the AutoRecovery file, why not search for the file itself on TimeMachine?
