Thanks for the input:
Indeed it was a mechanical problem. I have a Delta Printer with parallel 
Poles (D=16) and the carriages do have teflon coated bearing bushes from 
GLACIER.
One of the bushes came lose what was causing this nasty problem. I have 
changed the design to ball bearing bushes from INA.
All is okay now.
