Hi, everyone! I am running machinekit on a beaglebone. Currently, I have no issue connecting and operating my machine over OSX, android and Linux (many thanks for the beautifully developed software, everyone!). My setup currently includes a Wireless router, used to expose beaglebone's ethernet interface to wifi. That said, I am having an issue running machinekit client for Windows over wifi only - it runs perfectly fine if I connect windows PC over ethernet cable.
It took me a while for being able to build QtQuickVCP, however, I finally managed to do it. I've compiled them using MSVC2015, the only one I managed to get all the pieces, as protobuf wouldn't compile for x64 targets (at least I couldn't find a way). While running machinekit client on debug mode, I found the following on application output: [ SD ] trying to open network session [ SD ] number of configs: 0 [ SD ] trying to open network session [ SD ] number of configs: 0 I could trace it servicediscovery.cpp: L1173 void ServiceDiscovery::openNetworkSession() I tried different Qt versions, as it could be Qt incompatibility, but, it was not, at least with 5.9 and 5.12. I will try to poke around, however, I am afraid that my lack of expertise on this particular setup will pose a major issue. Any input will be greatly appreciated! Best regards.
