The following site uses a Java applet for sign-on and it looks like it hoses Mac IE 5.1:

The page will start to load and then at some point, you'll get the spinning beach-ball icon. Command-period won't work and you have to force-quit IE. It used to work fine under Mac IE 5 classic. (Yes Java is turned on in the preferences.)
