OK folks. I'm admitting to total defeat.
This machine seems a lot more intelligent than me. It keeps refusing to
shut down and presents me with a blue screen with an error message to the effect
that a fatal error has occurred etc. etc.
It seems I'm going to have to reformat my hard drive
and reinstall my windows 98 program. I'm totally lost on the correct
procedure to get the hard drive to format since it contains the windows
program which controls the format procedure, (I think) I'll save
most of the stuff that I want to keep by burning it onto a cd. Then I'll
re install that later.
Is there a soul out there who would be willing to
help me by suggesting a procedure to follow or by sending me to a HELP place
where I can possibly download the info. I surely would appreciate
any help.
