Hello back-at-ya: I was just thinking the same thing Marion. It has
been quiet and we sure did get a quick intro into winter!! The snow
helps get you into the Christmas mode though. Maybe put some lights up
outside - won't turn them on yet, but get them out there. To hell with
they hydro bill for one month eh? For the amount of time that they're
actually on, mine doesn't go up much, ALOT less to decorate this year
too. Sam better not sit still too long or I'll be throwing tinsel on him
(right, as if he would sit still for half a second) ha. Audie & Ted
stopped in for a visit on Sun. It was a nice surprise. They brought
Hewitts icecream for Kyle (brat) Ted and my brother Al headed over to
Canadian Tire - thats dangerous, 2guys heading to CT with no direction
from a woman. Yikes. Anyway its hard to believe its Grey Cup this
Sunday. Too bad the Mac Marauders got beat on Sat.in the Churchill Cup.
That was their only loss in the entire season. Oh well, on to next year.
Tom and Janette called me out to watch the game at their place. We tried
to get tickets to the game, but they were all sold out. So they had a
nice fire going in the family room, we all brought munchies and enjoyed
the game other than the loss. Tom is all upset coz Tommy is leaving
home. He and a fellow trainee from Aylmer who is posted to Cayuga OPP
are renting a home in Caledonia Scott Acres. Janette wants to go live
with them. Its got a nice yard
with a deck and hot tub. They move in this Sat. Tom's trying to get him
to stay home and save money, but its time Tommy says. It seems so funny
calling this tall, muscle bound young man Tommy, but he'll always be
Tommy to me. He's such a nice kid. Anyway, I better get back to work and
quite goofin' off.
