If we are truly bilingual, why is Quebec,a province of Canada, allowed to have French only signs ,yet the rest of Canada must have French and English signs. Again 3/4 of population have to bend to the demands of Quebec. If it is argued that the french signs preserve the french culture then Nova Scotia should have Gaelic signs!!! I think it is good to have a second language or even a third as do most European countries, but I resent the double standard when it comes to Quebec. Canada needs to spend money on more important matters......ie: self defense!!!!
