Thanks to all who responded with such good information
and advice on this thread. I would have enjoyed answering
the emails as they came in but my ISP's DHCP server was down
for two days for unscheduled service. I'm going to try the
IPNetrouter option for the free trial period while I'm saving
for a router. If I run into any problems I'll be back to the
list providing Rogers@home can keep all its ducks and
kookaburras in a row. Regards, John.
