Hello All, Trying to connect my SE/30 with 250 Mb HD, 128 Mb Ram running OS 7.5.5 but the network is not recocnized.Worked perfectly a few months ago but to replace the defunct original HD I had to perform surgery and remove a.o.the Asant� Ethernet cards. The machine boots O.K and everything, including the new HD, works allright exept no networking. When I attempt to configure AppleTalk from Printer to Ethernet a window appears saying: An error occured attempting to use ethernet. Make sure your network connections are correct. It than reverts to Printer. The green Led on the back of the smaler E-card is lit and so is the connection to the router which I use for my LAN. When I run Asant� TroubleShooter the Test says: could not find Asant� Ethernet Adapter!... blah, blah,blah verify that Adapter is properly connected and plugged in. I opened the box and all seemed to be correctly connected.
