Let me ammend that statement...
I checked out your Mac at EveryMac:

I belive computers with that particular all-in-one case have toggle
switch on the back of them in addition to the keyboard.  I don't
remember for sure, but I believe you can turn that switch off and then
on to start up the computer.  (Either that or it just restores the
ability to start from the keyboard.)
