Yes. If it is the same device I have, it is really a localtalk to Ethernet converter for older Mac's and Powerbooks. Works fairly nicely, but tops out at a MUCH lower speed, and can't do TCP/IP natively (but can do MacIP over AppleTalk if you have a MacIP router). I also for some reason seem to recall it is not compatible with Open Transport... but I might be wrong on that.
