If the only type of "external" connection your G3MT has is ethernet or USB, you will need something like a "LocalTalk to Ethernet" converter for the printer so it will be seen on an ethernet network. That would be fairly easy. If both Macs have serial ports, then you can hook the printer to one Mac, connect the Macs together with LocalTalk cabling, and "share" the printer via the selection in the Chooser of the Mac to which the printer is connected.
