I have... 3 times. I tried a custom install of just the file sharing items, then a custom install of all of the networking items, then an install of the entire system. Is there an invisible file I'm not deleting or finding? I have looked at the invisibles too but I don't see anything that would be related to file sharing. Maybe I should delete the file sharing control panel... I went into the prefs and I found 3 users and groups pref files Users & Groups CP prefs Users & Groups Data File Users & Groups Data File Backup I trashed the first 2 and changed the last one's name to Users & Groups Data File And I didn't have to restart.
