Jim, either of the methods ( using terminal emulation or serving IP) will
work for 68K macs.
ZTerm will run on Mac OS 6.8 and up, Black Night on 7.x and up. Mac HTTP
uses 7.x also.
I'm using 68K Macs exclusively: my SE30 running OS 7.1 uses Black Night to
dial up my community net text account. It uses Open Transport, Free PPP and
iCab for graphic access.
I also have a IIfx using the same set up but on OS 7.5.5. All of this over
a SupraExpress 33.6 modem.
