Hmmm. OK, went to the "Control Panel" and "Network and Dial-up 
Connections."

Since I don't really have a "server" as such (just trying to do file 
sharing as in Mac lingo), it wouldn't let me put in a domain name. 
Complained something about DNS error.

Oh, well, will keep chipping away and see what develops.
