Paul is correct in that when your emailer sends out a lengthy URL surrounded by < and >, it will remain a single character string. However, what your email client does with it varies from program to program. Most follow the industry standard and understand that the whole bit between < and > is a URL, but some email clients are not so well written. -- Dan Knight, president, Cobweb Publishing, Inc. <http://cobwebpublishing.com> <http://lowendmac.com> <http://digital-views.com> <http://digigraphica.com> <http://lowendpc.com> <http://reformed.net> I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing, and what a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization. -- Petronius -- MacNetwork is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
