I just posted this to the g-listbut I figure there may be some folks here who don't get that (and it is sort of network related):
I'm looking for some sort of *basic* video-conferencing solution: I have a beige g-3/233;os 9.2.2; 224 megs ram; entrega usb card; ADSL. I'd like to "video-chat" w/ someone running windows (not sure what version but it's a relatively new computer [1-2 yrs old] so it should be 2000/me/xp or something-- I can try to get the specs if it's relevant). I assume we'd both need some sort of web-cam thingy but beyond that I don't even know where to start looking... Any ideas? TIA, katzy ps-- yes, I know that the iSight would be perfect-- if we both had G5s..... -- MacNetwork is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
