I'm trying to set up an airport network between an eMac and a 7600. The 7600 has a D-Link Access Point, trying to use wireless client mode. The d-link, in its config, asks for SSID. Where do I get that? Is that the name of the computer I'm networking to? I've set up Mac-to-Mac ethernet & localtalk Appletalk networks, but I'm a wireless newbie. Also, I eventually plan to add my wife's iBook to the mix via Airport card. I have no desire to buy a base station. And I don't have broadband currently, but I hear it'll be available here in rural Iowa within the next year.

Please help, and also, are there some good Airport for newbies tutorials on the Web?

And I don't think this is possible, but if I have an AppleTalk printer on the 7600, could I print to it from the eMac? I assume no because it's a different protocol.
