Gene,

I've got a couple of Belkin 11g PCI cards (F5D7000) in
the desktop computers in my house. These cards use
the Boardcom chipset which is the chipset on Apple
Airport Extreme cards. My router is a Asante 3000
series with a Netgear WGR614v1 11g router used as a
Wireless Access Point. All work together. I just
love standards!

Anywho, I can recommend the Belkin 11g PCI card. You
should be able to pick these cards up for $10-$15.
Check dealmac.com, techbargins.com and eBay for deals.

If you want more choices, email me. I have a site
that has a list of all cards made and the chipsets
they use. (I don't have it on the PB I'm using to
answer your email.)
