Hi Peter, Yes, I am still alive. Sorry I haven't had time to write. First we got those computer donations then I had a bought of illness and now I am trying to get caught up.
I am currently configuring a Mac for a 13 yo boy at the request of his uncle. The Uncle is worried the kid will get restless this summer and get into trouble. A computer can offer a lot of options to kill boredom. Here are a few lines but may not be in order. Game programmers love to push the envelope. > Sony's PS3 incidentally is running a 9 core processor (Cell). Hope the Japs beat some MS butt. It would serve Gates right for trying to corner all the technology markets. :-) Peter Schaff wrote: > Bob, > > Thought you'd like to see one of the very few Amiga threads on Team > AMIGA: > > - Peter > > Current owner: KMOS Inc, who owns the trademarks and all of the > > technology, and can now legally go by the name Aimga Inc (and does just > > that). > > > > OS4 is in beta, approaching release condition. > > > > The AmigaOne (micro-A1) is shipping; it's a mini-ITX form factor > > motherboard. It is nice to here they are pulling together. Hope they are thinking Core in the near to intermediate future. Also thanks for the info on Evil Twin and pharming. I had heard of the pharming idea. In fact there was a sight that was exploiting some browsers till they made a patch. The Evil Twin is new to me. Since I don't have Wi-Fi or Airport I am not a target but will pass the info on to others I know. Will write more when I have more time.
