If all you are after is printer access, Apple made a control panel that bridged between localtalk and ethernet. But it only works for printers. You can get it on Apple's web site, I think it was called LaserWriter Bridge (its been a while since I've used it, so I might be wrong on the name, but it was something like that). If you want to bridge non printers, such as older Macs for file sharing, then that program won't work.
