Hey gang, For SOME unknown reason, my Airport 802.11b base station seems to have trouble working with anything using Airport software....
My Wallstreet, and my wife's iBook Clammy, use Airport software (the WS uses a Orinoco card with it). On both, the Airport base station signal fades in and out, consistently, no matter what distance the laptop is from the station. One second it is on; the next the signal is completely gone. Then, the cycle repeats.... However, my 2400c and my 6400, both using wifi via other means than Airport (2400c-Orinoco; 6400-Skyline) both access the base station perfectly. Signal is strong and steady... Help? Craig W.
