Did you use the sample URLs (http://httpbin.org/basic-auth/hello/there <http://httpbin.org/basic-auth/hello/there> and http://httpbin.org/digest-auth/auth/hello/there <http://httpbin.org/digest-auth/auth/hello/there>) I tried? I’m beginning to suspect that either that part of the site or the routing between me and the site is fried. (The httpbin.org <http://httpbin.org/> page points to HTTP and EU variants. Neither of them work for the Digest mode either for me.) Is there another HTTP client testing site out there that includes Digest Authentication? Or a free regular site that has it? (Harder to find now that OAuth is the new hotness and dialog-based methods (Basic, Digest, NTLM) are old & busted.) — Daryle Walker Mac, Internet, and Video Game Junkie darylew AT mac DOT com
