Ah yes, but you did not try it on an iPod Touch 5th gen A1421!

Seriously, your code works on iPads and iPhones running iOS 9.2.1, but not iPod
Touchs. On all of our iPod Touch 5th gens (A1421), CNCopySupportedInterfaces()
returns nil.

In the debugger, the CNCopySupportedInterfaces() call jumps to NSObject.h:

NS_INLINE id __nullable CFBridgingRelease(CFTypeRef CF_CONSUMED __nullable X) {
    return (__bridge_transfer id)X;
}

On an iPhone 5S, X is a valid object:

> X __NSCFArray * @"1 object" 0x000000015ee49ca0
  > [0] NSTaggedPointerString * @"en0" 0xa00000000306e653
    > NSString NSString
      > NSObject NSObject
        > isa Class 0x0

But on an iOS 9.2.1 iPod Touch 5th gen, X is nil:

> X CFTypeRef 0x0 0x00000000

Same wifi network environment for both.

How is this even possible?
