Office bug quashed, notes for your Pod, a better way to wake up and more
� OpenOSX Inc has announced it is shipping the Office 1.0 v2 CD, which corrects a bug
with AbiWord that prevented the word processor from launching. Also, an updater is
available for download from the same link.
� NotePod 1.1, the latest update of the personal note manager for organizing notes
with reminders and links (URLs, files), has been released. v1.1 allows users to
rearrange items in hierarchical list drag and drop.
� Intelli Innovations has announce an update (v2.2.1) for its IntelliMerge e-mail
merge software, which adds automatic connection, transaction timeout handling and
improved import from text file functions.
� Alarm Clock Pro has been revved to v5.5. Koingo Software''s Classic and Carbon
alarm-clock replacement application allows users to choose the music, sounds or
internet radio stations they want to wake up to -- US$12.
� PSoft has released an update of its iMsafe backup solution for Mac OS X. v1.8 offers
improved multitasking, a more reliable backup engine, [etc.]..
� The Apple Network Assistant 4.0.5 (ANAT) improves performance and reliability, and
offers system administrators the ability to Observe/Control other Macs, share screens
with multiple Macs, or lock the screen of a specific or all Macs in a lab.
� Bad Cookie 1.1 is a cookie manager for Netscape, Mozilla (now works correctly),
Internet Explorer (fixes several bugs), and OmniWeb - can automatically scan for new
cookies, insert a new profile into a cookie and inspect the details of a cookie --
