Apple legal strikes again
By ron carlson, Insanely Great Mac
July 29th 2002

Zettabyte will no longer be offering SuperDrive-equipped eMacs

Zettabyte Solutions, which shot to instant fame when it announced that it was selling
SuperDrive-equipped eMacs, is singing an increasingly familiar refrain -- "Apple legal
squashed our attempt to think different."

The company''s homepage has been replaced with a black splash screen with the
following:

"Due to legal restrictions we will no longer be able to sell our SuperDrive-equipped
eMac. We will honor all existing customers'' warranties. Thank you for visiting."

Analysis: Bah! Humbug! My bat, my ball, my glove! Does anyone else feel that Apple is
increasingly petty and self demeaning?
