Jaguar begins to ship

Some of those that pre-ordered Mac OS X.2 report that Apple has sent them shipping
notices
Think Secret reports that several of its readers report receiving shipping notices
from the Apple Store stating that their copies of Jaguar will arrive this week --
Thursday or Friday.
"It appears that they are being shipped out in rough order of the date the pre-order
was placed," says Nick dePlume, Think Secret''s numero uno. "One reader ordered two
copies -- one the day after Macworld Expo/New York, and the other in the weeks after
it -- and the first copy is shipping, to arrive by Thursday or Friday."
Think Secret and other sources around the Mac web have quoted reader reports stating
that they received Jaguar CDs along with their new hardware: PowerBooks, iBooks and
iMacs. 10.2 is also pre-installed on the new Power Mac G4s which were announced
yesterday.
IGM reported earlier this week that resellers have begen receiving shipments of Jaguar.
