Looking for a better way to keep your apps daisy fresh?
MacUpdate''s has released v1.1 of its MUMenu. This app is a "menu extra" that
periodically checks for Mac OS X software updates at MacUpdate. You''ll be able to
browse small descriptions of the updated products, go to More Info pages and download
them. This revision includes new icons by Dan Sandler, the ability to specify update
frequency and customizable menu bar icons.
Jaguar users should also install the Menu Extra Enabler (Apple killed off third-party
apps in the menu bar in X.2).
Schedule, browse and update from one easy-to-use interface that''s unobtrusive and
best-of-all this service is free -- unlike a certain other company''s offering.
