Brick-n-mortar Apple Store offer 'refershing' deals
By ron carlson, Insanely Great Mac
September 30th 2002
The last weekend of each will see the company's non-virtual stores clear stock of
returned and refurbished items at discounted prices
MacMinute reports that brick-n-mortar Apple Stores have begun a new policy of offering
returned/refurbished items at reduced prices on the last weekend of each month. Sale
items are said to include both systems and peripherals that carry Apple's one-year
limited warranty (may vary by product).
According to MacMinute, the Easton Apple Store in Columbus, Ohio offered the following
items this past weekend:
 Power Mac G4 733MHz ($999)
 iMac G4 15-inch 800Mhz ($1599)
 eMac 700Mhz CDR ($899)
 iBook 700Mhz 14.1-inch ($1529)
Lacie 80GB external hard drive ($149)
 Apple DVI-to-ADC adapter ($99)
 JBL Creature speakers ($99)
 Canon ZR40 digital camcorder ($499).
In related news, Apple has announced its latest retail store will open in Towson,
Maryland this coming Saturday (Oct 5) at 10am.
Editor's note: Needless to say it will probably pay to call ahead or otherwise be
apprised of the products to be offered lest you waste your time seeking items not
available.
