Macromedia announces Breeze

Here's another way to deliver PowerPoint presentations over the web
Macromedia has announced the availability of two Breeze products to help companies
simplify and accelerate communication and training through a powerful, yet easy to
use, enterprise solution.
Macromedia Breeze Training (ie Presedia Express Trainer, Macromedia acquired Presedia,
Inc. in January 2003) is a fully-automated learning solution that leverages tools like
PowerPoint and the web for rapid, easy and consistent online training. This rapid
e-learning solution enables subject matter experts to quickly and easily create,
manage, deliver, and measure multimedia courses delivered with Flash. Breeze
Presentation (ie Presedia Express Presenter) leverages PowerPoint and the web so
people of all skill levels can create, deliver and share online presentations with
ease. Both products feature a new user interface to further streamline the process of
rapidly delivering online courses and presentations as interactive, Flash applications.
Breeze is part of Macromedia's Information Convenience product family, which provides
solutions that enable organizations and business professionals to create and share
information quickly, easily, and effectively without deep technical training.
Pricing for Breeze Training starts at $15,995, with Macromedia Breeze Presentation
pricing starting at $9,995. Both packages are available as either hosted ASP or
enterprise licensed solutions.
Editor's note: Break out your checkbooks boys! However, you might want to check up on
Mac compatibility as Macromedia doesn't list any info on this point. It would appear
that the server side is Windoze only, but that's hardly surprising.
A quick check of the Presidia site was equally unfulfilling.
