MSN for X teaser page posted

M$' Mactopia site now includes a placeholder page for the upcoming version of its
online service for 'the rest of us'
M$' MacBU (Mac Business Unit) has posted a "MSN for Mac�OS�X" page. The service will
include Microsoft internet access software, content and online services that "will
make the Web as useful as your Mac."
MSN for Mac OS X, which as the name implies won't be available for Classic users,
offers a "bold new interface" for the tools and applications Mac users use every day.
The states that it has put together a team of dedicated Mac experts to provided
tailored customer service.
Currently, the download link on the MSN for Mac OS X page lists a dozen or so desktop
pictures. Aside from these admittedly nifty pics, there's neither scent nor sign of
the connection software itself.
A final push
As IGM reported back in February, the MacBU is devoting "considerable resources" to
getting MSN for X out the door. When announced in August last year, MSN for X was
tentatively scheduled for release in "early 2003."
Needless to say, the arrival of this software and service package is imminent.
