Giga Designs adds 800MHz G4 with 2MB cache

Their previous entry-level upgrade shipped without an L3 cache. OWC blowing out stock
of cacheless model
Giga Designs is shipping an updated version of its popular entry-level 800MHz G4
upgrade. This latest version includes an L3 cache, which can dramatically improve
performance.
XLR8 Your Mac reviewed the earlier, cacheless 800MHz G4 upgrade giving it good marks
for value.
Giga Design's 800MHz G4 upgrade with 2MB L3 cache is ">priced at $299.
In related news, Other World Computing (OWC), which is Giga's sole retail partner, is
advertising the cacheless 800MHz G4 upgrade for $228 on their specials page.
