EyeTV also works with unencrypted digital cable and our basic $15 cable has all the local channels including all their various DTV/HDTV extra channels, a tone of shopping, a ton of spanish channels, and things like History, Discover, Travel, and the various family channels showing old TV reruns etc all included. So it has lots of use regardless of what happens with whitespace wifi
