My take: > does the Mac App Store contains DRM?
Probably. I haven't seen anything official on this, but the wording in the presentation seemed to indicate that it'd be very similar to how the iOS Store functions. > Is Open Source Software allowed? This will very likely be the same stance that Apple has with regards to the iOS Store and open source. If you have the right to distribute the software through the App Store, it's fine. In other words, if it's your software and can license it however you want, that's fine. If it's not yours, and distributing it through the App Store is in conflict with the license that the original software was released under, you can't. > Do the apps contain ads? I'd be surprised if this isn't an option. Maybe not initially, but it seems obvious to offer it as an option. -- arno s hautala /-| [email protected] pgp f81c4e00 _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
