Odd that ls -a indicates 8 files but lists only 3. Is it possible for files to be hidden in a way that explains this? I know there are ways to make files hidden other than making them dot files. If not, maybe your file system is corrupted. I'd try DiskWarrior. --Andy _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list MacOSX-talk@omnigroup.com http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
