The easiest way to do this is to have a single account that buys everything that the kids can share.
For stuff you have now, you have to decide, rebuy, authorize from for your account, or let the rug rats suffer. your Family account hierarchy is interesting, and a good idea. but I doubt it would happen. Had we all known what was coming down the pipe, we’d have done a purchase account since day one.
