Thanks for checking. That's exactly what I thought I remembered. Now, guess what. I tried again just now and the scrubber was there. I tried a different DVD (actually a VIDEO_TS directory) and it was gone -- until I went into full-screen mode and back to a regular window. *Then* it was there. I'm confused, but at least I know the feature wasn't yanked in Mountain Lion.
