Hi all: Not worth starting a new thread, but can someone tell me where the printer drivers are stored?
I've just got an old HP 2100m - a good solid printer that could do with a service but is otherwise sound. The drivers on a new machine with 10.9.4 are pretty poor, but the one on another machine that was updated from 10.8.x make far more use of the printer features. I can't see any reason why I shouldn't swap the drivers. The relevant one is already working with 10.9.4 it's just that the basic install on a new machine doesn't include it.
