I'm using sierra and it looks like the possibility to choose between a POP and an IMAP account when creating a local account doesn't exist anymore...
I've set the POP forwarding things in gmail but it doesn't seem to make any difference... Any idea how to do that? Jean-Christophe ps: the reason why I don't want to recreate the thing as IMAP is that I don't want to download 10+ years of mails on my machine...
