I'd be interested in signing up for one if you do that.
On a similar, not-really-perly note, is there a problem with /usr/bin/cc
on osx? I can't get it to build anything. A typical example, with the mutt
mailier, is below, but others bomb out the same way:
% ./configure
creating cache ./config.cache
checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes
checking for working aclocal... missing
checking for working autoconf... found
checking for working automake... missing
checking for working autoheader... found
checking for working makeinfo... missing
checking host system type... powerpc-apple-darwin1.4
checking for prefix... /usr/local/mutt
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... cc
checking whether the C compiler (cc ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem:
C compiler cannot create executables.
%
Everything I've tried to install today or yesterday has hit this error.
This system was installed just last week, and is for the most part pretty
clean (i.e. haven't yet had time to install anything that would have
messed up the system settings, I think...).
Anyone else encounter this problem, or hear about a workaround or fix?
