I've been thinking about porting some MacPerl Toolbox modules (see
thread `cocoa interfaces'). However in the meantime I've discovered
wxPerl (wxPerl.sourceforge.net), and am tempted to go this direction
instead (wxPerl still has to be ported to MacOS*, but that should not
be too difficult and the author has assured his support in the
process (he doesn't have a mac)). I don't know whether wxWindows
supports the essential AppleEvent stuff, if not, then a Carbon AE
Toolbox module would probably still be needed. Though the guys that
will be working with us on our software still could use plain C(++)
instead, so it's not sure yet whether we will work on any perl
related MacOS* stuff.

Anyone with wxWindows experience on the Mac? Anyone wanting to help
in the process?

Christian.
