I am curious as to what I should expect in way of responsiveness from Perl/Tk on 10.2.1? I have it installed and running with Perl 5.8.0, but overall window redraw is quite poor (1,2 seconds to get primitive window displayed). I am curious if this is typical, or if this will improve, or if there is something I can do to rectify/improve things. I am new to Tk, so I am not even sure what to expect.
