It works, at least.

But what I really want, my @alias = $iTunes->prop(location=>file_tracks,library_playlist=>'Library');

doesn't seem to.

At least, if I do
use Mac::Glue
my $iTunes=>Mac::Glue->new("iTunes");
my @alias = $iTunes->prop(location=>file_tracks,library_playlist=>'Library');
print scalar(@alias);

I get "1".

Ahh. After another subtle hint from Chris,

use Mac::Glue
my $iTunes=>Mac::Glue->new("iTunes");
my $temp =  $iTunes->prop(location=>file_tracks,library_playlist=>'Library');
my @alias = $temp->get();
print scalar(@alias);

gives me the right number.
