Apache::MP3::Resample on OS X

I'm not sure if this is the right place to direct this question, but 
has anyone had success in setting up Apache::MP3::Resample on OS X? I 
recently got Apache::MP3 to return more than blank pages, and the 
actual mp3 serving appears to work fine, but resampling does not. The 
resample menu doesn't appear to retain whatever setting a user gives 
it.

I'm not getting any errors in my logs, so I don't even know where to 
begin.

Thoughts? Ideas?
