Yes I'm afraid it includes Image::Magick and Archive::Zip, and I was hoping to be able to generate something that would run standalone on machines where perl may not even be installed (on Windows that is)
Right - the .exe's that PAR builds don't require Perl at all. Getting a properly working Image::Magick going on Windows, and then getting PAR to suck in everything properly, is outside my realm of "been there."
I see ActiveState sell a development kit that will do it for Windows, but I think I have to generate them on Windows which I could do if I had to.
Right - you'd have to generate the PAR .exe's on Windows too. I don't know of any way, short of RealBasic, where you can click a magic button on OS X to create a perfect Perl application for Win32. -- Morbus Iff ( you are nothing without your robot car, NOTHING! ) Culture: http://www.disobey.com/ and http://www.gamegrene.com/ O'Reilly Author, Weblog, Cook: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/au/779 icq: 2927491 / aim: akaMorbus / yahoo: morbus_iff / jabber.org: morbus
