Thanks Alan, I was aware of the above .. I've installed it on Linux. In fact I wrote the DateTime::Format::Baby module on CPAN and am currently writing DateTime::Calendar::Metric.


Params::Validate comes with a pure-perl version so there's not the same problems there.

My main reason for doing this is to learn how to do such things on a mac. Its all well and good us writing this DateTime module set, but if it can't be ported to all platforms, we're screwt!
