I still like 'archs any' more than 'archs noarch', but I can live with the latter. For reference, the ticket requesting a way of marking ports as noarch: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/12206> >> oracle-instant-client does not seem to be open source, so there is no >> source available at all (which brings up again that we should record >> licenses in Portfiles). > > Might not be a bad idea. > > Oracle also doesn't want anyone redistributing their files, I think, > so we need a way to indicate in the portfile that the files should > not be mirrored on distfiles.macports.org. Ticket requesting license metadata: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/7493> Avoiding issues with distributing binaries is the stated motivation, but now that we mirror distfiles it's sometimes an issue there as well as you noted. - Josh _______________________________________________ macports-dev mailing list macports-dev@lists.macosforge.org http://lists.macosforge.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/macports-dev
